ABOUT US
Loaf ‘N Jug is one of EG America’s convenience and retail brands with more than 165 store locations across Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Wyoming.
Our History
Loaf ‘N Jug was founded by Sam Sharp and Paul Jones, who opened the first convenience store in Fowler, Colorado, in 1973. With the main headquarters in Pueblo, Colorado, Loaf ‘N Jug quickly grew to 152 locations and soon became a staple in middle America, expanding into other states that included Wyoming, New Mexico, Montana, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. Loaf N’ Jug was purchased by Kroger in 1986. In 2018, EG Group acquired Kroger's convenience store business, thus adding the Loaf N’ Jug stores to its portfolio of brands as part of its US operations.
